Welcome to Blenheim Road B&B

Our house sits on the edge of Dickson Hill overlooking the Galt downtown and Grand riiver of Cambridge, Ontario.  Galt was the "Manchester of Canada" in the 19th century and it still maintains a great heritage of Victorian Scottish architecture.  The area of West Galt, where our house is located, is one of the most desirable neighborhhoods anywhere in Canada.  Many beautiful homes line the pleasant streets lit with Victorian street lamps.  Our house at 16 Blenheim Road dates to circa 1879 and is a spendid example of an Italianate Victorian house.

Spend time in our Victorian drawing room reading a good book or enjoy a sumptuous breakfast in our elegant dining room or laze away the afternoon in a wicker rocker on our beautiful large veranda.  We think that your stay will provide a quick return to the elegance and simplicity of the 19th century.  Our bedrooms are filled with period antiques but cozy comfortable beds.  Each room has an ensuite and every ammenity that we can provide.  Neil and Tish Ostlund, your hosts, will attempt to see that your stay is memorable.

The Galt area of Cambridge offers a pleasing ambience whether you are here for business, family, or just on vacation.  The School of Architecture and the new Drayton Theatre are only a couple of blocks away. Great restaurants like the Cambridge Mill or Napa Grille and Wine Den are a short stroll down the street.  Canada's largest indoor Antique shop is also within walking distance.  Main Street Galt and the Grand River offer pleasant strolls as part of the beauty of Cambridge, Ontario.

We look forward to having you join us in the near future.
